hello gents, 46 yrs, brief summary...
sept 12, sitting to watch some NFL and noticed the perineum pressure/ache symptom. more noticable when sitting but allways present regardless of what i'm doing. non emptying feeling after urinating which i believe has been triggering the brain for the need to pee all night. Lousy erections with less than spectacular orgasms.
sept 19, i catch a bad cold that compounds all the symptoms like sore back ect. lasts over 2 weeks
sept 27, go to the walk-in clinic get the DRE, nothing out of the ordinary other than someones finger in my @ss. He ends up giving me one 500 pill per day for 14 days. this cypro had no effect after 8 days.
oct 5, go to the GP and explain all this, he sends me for blood work, psa et all and a ct-scan referal (oct27). He doesn't want to see me again until mid november so that all the results will be back, yikes. After the visit i realized he didn't order a urinalysis allthough i read on the net that urinalysis can be useless while on antibitotics?
I've cut out all the usual foods and drinks and try to relax at home. My biggest problem is that i'm a heavy equipment operator. yes, sitting for 40-50 hrs a week pounding away, god help me. I'm feeling emotionally exhausted at this point, it can be a private hell when you don't want to freak the family out. This all probably sounds like a broken record,I feel for all on this board. Thoughts?

Something I thought of today. Just frustrated I guess. I've read where approximately 50% of men will seek help for prostate issues in their lifetime. So one would think there would be hundreds of thousands men or even more suffering from some form of prostatitis? Chronis prostatitis being diagnost 90% of the time. One would think there would be all sorts of info on the net and some very busy website forums? Am I missing something?
