Hi everyone. I need some advice as my life has now good
Let me start from the beginning.
I had started feeling pain in my left testicle which spread to my right one. After two months of this, the pain became unbearable and i went to my GP. He suspected epididymitis and gave me a course of cipro antibiotics for 10 days. I felt slightly better but a week later i started to develop discharge and the pain returned. I recently went back to him and he suspected chlamydia and gave me a course of zithromax. I immediately felt much better but over the following weeks the pain started to come back. 4 weeks later, and im noticing discharge again.
So now i have decided to go to urologist surgeon who suggested i do an STD screening, which i did. I had a blood test and urine test taken but i am worried that i am still going to have trouble.
I have severe trouble obtaining an erection too. However, right after the zithromax this was not a problem at all. My sex life is literally non-existent. To make matters worse i met the girl of my dreams, who now thinks im gay due to the fact that i put off sex at every advance. When I got my results and am negative for all STDs... i just dont get it. I was prescribed another course of Zithromax which i just finished taking. I was told that even after the bacteria dies, it could still cause discomfort for a period of time until it clears out of the system. If i had to take a shot in the dark i would think that i was first given ciproflaxin to treat epididymitis which didnt heal the chlamydia. I was then given Zithromax which cleared the chlamydia but by that time the epididymitis set in again.
I went for my ultrasound and everything came out normal. Today i went to the GU clinic and they took a urine sample again as well as a swab from my urethra. All during the whole time the doctor was trying to explain to me that this is most probably psychological but as far as i know i dont think i am manifesting pain and discharge. While going on about it he was looking under the microscope and stopped to confirm that i do in fact have some inflammation. He went on to prescribe me 2 weeks worth of Doxycycline.
My question is this:
Since i had already taken Zithromax twice i am pretty sure the chlamydia would have been killed. I doubt there are any chances the Doxycycline is going to kill what the Zithromax couldnt. I still am experiencing discharge, a complete loss of libido or ability to have an erection as well as some mild testicular pain. Could it be that the chlamydia is dead and this is all a bout of prostitis? I have had my prostate examined by two doctors, the latest being today by the head doctor of the GU clinic. Both said it seems fine. Could it be that they both misdiagnosed this? Im freaking out now.
Does prostatitis cause white discharge?
I do not have any pain in my prostate, neither do i have back pain or much difficulty urinating.
Any advice will be very greatly appreciated..

It does sounds like prostatitis to me. However, the only strong advice I'd give would be to ignore the doctor who's saying this is psychological. It's true that being anxious can make pain worse, but there's no way that this is the cause of your condition. This is a way of doctors putting the burden back onto the patient - it makes you feel like it's your own fault, that you're inadequate in some way. Doctors do this to mask their own inadequacy: they don't know what to do, so they turn it back onto the patient.
It is not the first story of this kind, while the patient had been told that it is psychological problem.
