I have had the same urologist for some time now, perhaps 4-5 years. In the past I have had bacterial prostatitis at least 4 times, and all the time I have been prescribed antibiotics and the problem seem solved...until a few months ago.

I still think I have some sort of infection, but the problem is that my urine test and my sperm test showed no bacteria at all. I have the strong feeling that the tests do not cover all the spectrum of possible bacteria (for instance, Clamydia, or Ureaplasm), so my doctor told me I have chronic prostatitis, of the abacterial type, which I found a little bit disorienting as I feel really bad, specially when I pee or I have sex, the pain is very bad in my prostate, but also in the urethra. The only treatment I got so far was 10 days with Cipro, the problem in the urethra disappeared for a while, but now is back, while the pain in my prostate (or around it) continues...

I have a motorcycle, dont know if this is a problem, I have a steady girlfriend but I met one girl with whom I used no protection in the near past. Any help or problems similar to mine I would appreciate your comments.
