I think that many of the people who are suffering from prostatitis got this from oral sex. It seems that there is a bug which exists in partner mouths that causes severe problems in the male urinary tract. Plaque is one of the first things that comes to my mind, as it has a long history of creating calcifications (what your doctor traditionally refers to as plaque on your teeth). In fact, most dentists will tell you that plaque in your mouth can lead to plaque in your ateries, etc. Another interesting point is that plaque has a long history of creating biofilms, making it difficult to treat.
What do you think ?

Hello
I think you are right ,that's how mine started. I had a long antibiotic treatment course, I'm pretty much pain free now. Occasional twinges, enough to remind me to be careful, but overall having no impact on my life. You have to be careful in your sexual life now, because now the "barrier is broken", so it is to much easy for pathogen flora to penetrate prostate and make it swell.
