Hey
My doc made me a dre - digital (finger) rectum examination.
He said that it is enough to say that i have swelled prostate and prescribe me an antibiotic named Ciprodex.
Do you think i should do more tests to be sure?
Thanks

Hello
Whot kind of doc you are visiting , my friend ?
It is very stupid method making any diagnosis for prostate problems or prescribe a proper treatment to cure prostate  Smiley
it is absolutely NOT ENOUGH !!!
Truly , doctor may assume( after prostate finger examination )that gland is enlarged or inflamed.
So determine prostate consistency too (prostate gland must not be tough).
BUT he must examine it very well - make 4-5 another tests ( us, trus, urine test , prostate fluid bacterial , bladder us, kidney efficiency, etc..)
Very wrong decision - to prescribe anitibiotics with no relevant tests, antibiotics may be an enemy of our body - taking it with no need.
